COLUMBIA CITY, Indiana

This year the Painted Pony, Dunfee Plumtickled Junction, and Pickles
Café joined together for their first celebration of the National Day
of the American Cowboy.

The event was hosted at the Plumtickled Junction in Dunfee, where
members from the United States Team Roping Champions (USTRC)performed.

Pickles Café served "cowboy grub," and the Painted Pony added to the country spirit with goats for petting, cowboy games, and face painting for children.

The celebration, full of food, fun, and country sprit was a great
success, with over 200 guests in attendance, according to store owner
Roxie Schuster. "We were really happy with the turnout, especially
considering this was the first year," said Schuster.  Coordinators plan to make this an annul event.
